Kathleen earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Florida State University, and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia. She has had an outpatient private practice since 1989, and offers counseling for children, teens and adults. Kathleen's areas of specialty include problems associated with divorce, parenting, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and spiritual issues, but in her 20+ years of practice - she has experience with many other issues as well.
Ms. Dunn speaks to community groups on various topics, including parenting, stress and depression, healing and faith, and other common emotional difficulties and topics. She is a Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and the National Association of Social Workers. Kathleen co-founded Jasper Counseling Associates with her husband Robin in January 2003.
Away from the office, Kathleen and Robin have two children who stay very busy with school and athletic endeavours. Kathleen is a real lover of animals, gardening, and anything outdoors. She loves to spend time with her pets, which includes her favorite pastime - riding and training horses.

Robin W. Dunn, M.S. Licensed Professional Counselor
Robin earned his B.S. degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1984, followed by a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Georgia State University in 1988. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, and has been practicing outpatient psychotherapy since 1988. Robin works with adults, teens and children in individual, couples, and family therapy. He has experience in working with a multitude of issues including anxiety, depression, dependency, abuse survivor issues, assertiveness, motivation, impulsivity, anger management, personality issues, communication difficulties, and parenting skills.
Mr. Dunn is a clinical member of the American Counseling Association, the Licensed Professional Counselors Assoc. of Georgia, and the International Assoc. of Marriage and Family Counselors. Along his wife Kathleen, he co-founded Jasper Counseling Associates in January 2003.
Robin stays busy away from work supporting the activities and interests of Kathleen and their two children. He is a volunteer distance coach with the Pickens High School Track & Field and Cross Country Teams, while also volunteering time with C.A.R.E.S. (a local food pantry). Like Kathleen, he also enjoys anything outdoors - running, gardening, photography, pets, and "playing" on his Kubota tractor.
Dr. Ann Pike is a licensed psychologist who specializes in helping adults, couples and families reach their full emotional potential with her unique blend of counseling and clinical psychology expertise. Ann attained her doctoral degree in Counseling from the University of Georgia and her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Augusta State University.
She has additional training in executive and professional coaching and Pesso-Boyden Psychomotor Psychotherapy. Areas of interest include family and marital communication, obesity/eating disorder issues, effective stress management skills and innovative treatments for anxiety and depression. Dr. Pike has been in private practice for 25 years and has offices in Jasper and Woodstock, Georgia. Prior to her work in private practice, she worked in inpatient psychiatric settings and was a member of a three county crisis management team in Northeast Atlanta. She is uniquely qualified to empower her clients to deal with a wide range of emotional issues. Dr. Pike is currently developing teleseminars in areas of special interest to her clients. She can be contacted directly at Jasper Counseling or at Cherokee Counseling and Psychological Associates in Woodstock, Georgia, where she currently sees patients two days a week.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys hiking and being in the woods watching wildlife from the porch of her north Georgia home. Listening to owls on a summer night is her favorite way to relax at home. She appreciates the tranquility and peace of nature and takes every opportunity to watch animals in their natural habitat in the mountains of north Georgia. She is also an avid reader of fiction and has an ongoing interest in creative writing. Although not "published" as a fiction writer, she has studied the craft in her spare time "just for the pleasure and creativity of it."
